Nigeria: Hilda Baci's record for largest pot of jollof rice confirmed by Guinness World Records

/n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>The 29-year-old chef is known for having briefly held the world record <a href=https://www.africanews.com/"https:////www.africanews.com//2023//06//14//nigerian-chef-non-stop-cooking-record-confirmed-by-guinness-world-records///" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer\"><strong>for the longest cooking marathon<\/strong><\/a>, with her 2023 challenge spanning 93 hours and 11 minutes of non-stop cooking. <a href=https://www.africanews.com/"https:////www.africanews.com//2023//11//07//nigerias-hilda-baci-officially-dethroned-guinness-world-record-confirms-new-chef///" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer\"><strong>Irish chef Alan Fisher surpassed her record a year later.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But it sparked off numerous of attempts at Guinness World Records recognition as many young West Africans tapped into the desire for global acclaim, including challenges for the longest book reading, the longest skipping rope session and the longest speech, among
